About Dr. Brown

Robert “Bobby” Brown, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist specializing in gynecology and urogynecology. As a member of the American Urogynecological Society, he’s esteemed among his peers and has acted as a National Preceptor (clinical educator) of women’s health. With an extensive background in the diagnosis and treatment of female pelvic organ conditions, he’s highly trusted as a provider for the women of Alabama.

Dr. Brown began his education at Milsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He continued his education at the University of Alabama Medical School, where he received his Medical Doctorate. He later moved back to Mississippi to complete his residency at the University of Mississippi, where he met his current associate, Dr. McCool-Pearson.

When he isn’t treating patients, Dr. Brown enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Jana, and two daughters, Camille and Campbell. He also dedicates his time to breast cancer awareness and is a local ambassador to the Real Men Wear Pink campaign for the American Cancer Society. Dr. Brown’s passion for his work is evident in his care and concern for his patients as his commitment to them encompasses not only their medical well-being but their emotional health and happiness.
